The homestay is well maintained

Overall it was a nice experience with the 2 days stay at Madumalai Estate , food was good and the hospitality throughout our stay was excellent. The homestay is well maintained, clean and hygienic. We had booked 2 deluxe cottages but there was no deluxe facility offered. Overall I felt the Tariff per day was bit expensive. The normal/regular cottage is same as the deluxe cottage. I would rate this at 3/5.

Nice experience!!

Property is pretty good....Can add few activities guided by the resort staff. Barbecue can be added in the itinerary. Food can be improved as non-veg options are limited to chicken only. Small stretch on the resort approach road is very bad....narrow patch, steep slope, all gravel....no traction for 2-wheel drive vehicle....was really tough....am used to driving on slopes but with no grip for the tyres, it was very tough....since its a small stretch am sure it is worth fixing it. To top it all someone had parked his bike just before the uphill ends...phewww otherwise a nice experience!!

Visit to the river was good

1. Very good Place to stay. 2. Evening Snacks(Marie Biscuits) was provided though I was late (7 pm) 3. Good breakfast,Lunch and Dinner could improve on the menu items. 4. Excellent Greenery and visit to the river was good. 5. Bon Fire in the open ground where there are lot of leech.We/kids were afraid to sit there.Could move to a open ground where there are no grass. 6. Good Cooks and clean kitchen. 7. Rooms are very good and clean.4 bedded cottage bathroom had bad odour once we got in may be due to lack of ventilation. 8. Our request to stay for a extra night with a cheaper option was not serviced.
