Located just 6 km away from the majestic Jog Falls, the Sharavathi Nature Camp is a haven for birdwatchers, offering sightings of various winged visitors such as Kingfishers, Indian Peafowl, Hoopoes, Hornbills, Pond Herons, Grey-headed Bulbuls, and Cormorants. The resort is also surrounded by several butterfly species and is home to mammals such as the Black-naped Hare, Common Langurs, and Malabar Giant Squirrels. The monsoon season, which starts in June and lasts until November, is the best time to visit the Jog Falls as the Western Ghats come alive with fresh new life and renewed vitality.

Resort is located at scenic location

Nice stay and value for money. Food and ambience is good. Staff behavior is too good and they will help you in all the aspects during the stay. Resort is located at scenic location and all the cottages have river view.

Thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed

Hi,
I am from bangalore and visited this place along with my friends and had stay for one day.
I liked the scenic location of this place and its serene surroundings. Its a place to relax,enjoy the view of water plain n mountains.
Boat ride is good.
Main thing is you can be free from distractions as there is no mobile network available in the vicinity and no TV also.
Visit to Jog falls was nice.
Guidance by staff is good.
Food was very good.
Staff provided us with flexible check in n check out facility since we reached th property late.
Cant think of any Cons of this property.
Thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed the stay.

Scenic, peaceful, vibrant

I visited this place along with family around last year-end. The place was a bit hard to find but the search was totally worth it. The resort property is very well built, planned by the Sharavati river side and maintained by a group of a dedicated team that is very hospitable.

Serene and secluded

Very beautiful setting!! Am a big fan of jungle lodges and love all their properties. Beautiful cottage with an amazing view! There is no safari offered here but the nature walk and boat ride are awesome!!we went on a weekday so we had all the property to our self. There was just one more couple who went to Mangalore for a sightseeing. Limited options in breakfast lunch and dinner as compared to other jungle lodges. But anyways, you didnot go to a jungle lodge to just eat!! Its just to watch the nature at its best!!
