The Sakrebyle Elephant Camp is a forest camp located in the state of Karnataka, designed to train captive elephants. Situated just 14 km away from Shimoga on the Shimoga-Thirthahalli Road, it is regarded as the best elephant training camp in the state and is maintained by the Karnataka Forest Department. The camp is a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts and tourists, providing a unique opportunity to observe these majestic animals up close.

All the amenities provided was simply excellent. Food and quality of cottage was very good and satisfying. Best place for one day stay.

Very nice place

Very nice place and we enjoyed the stay. Staff were very courteous and great service!. Unfortunately we couldnt go for both nature walk and trekking due to rain. Thanks to both JLR and Trailroot!!
