Well maintained facility

One of the kind in terms of experience and location. Well maintained facility and staff people were like our own family members. Hospitality at its best. Home made delicious local food and very delicious as well. One has to walk few steps to reach backwaters or private beach. Get up to see sunrise right from your room and just walk few yards to see awesome sunset. Very nice and unique place. Safe place for staying on an island. Will definitely recommend to my friends. Kayaking was very nice on the backwaters and could easily visit mangroves or an island nearby. Enjoyed my stay with my family. Thanks to Ranjith and his staff for making our stay a memorable one. - Yogesh

Really awesome..

Really awesome private beach & resort! Indeed an excellent host Ranjith, staff with genuine care with love. Very safe, well maintained. Amazing stay and experience. Must visit place. The place is really an island with sea on one side and backwaters on the other! Just step out of your room and walk into the backwaters. At the backyard take a few steps and reach awesome private beach! Kayaking a highlight, in very safe waters, paddle away to the nearby mangroves!

Magical Stay

I stayed in this homestay for a few days and I''m absolutely amazed with this place.You can forget the world here! All I could hear was the ocean and soothing sound of palm trees, I had the beach almost to myself, the staff is great, they made me feel like home, food was delicious, room was very comfortable and clean, I couldn''t ask for more. I definitely recommend

Amazing place

Island Homes is an amazing place to spend some quality time. The location is the USP here, just ~200mtrs of land between Arabian sea. You will have to park your vehicle at other side of shore and reach this place by boat(pickup and drop by boat with no extra cost). Deluxe rooms are basic rooms in old house(their kitchen is also located here). Super deluxe rooms are in newly constructed building(nice balcony with backwater view) which is few steps away from the old house. Their service is really good, their boatman Mr. Gangan takes care of the guests very well. The food provided were really tasty, crab, prawn and fish curry, tiger prawn and kallumakki (clams) fry were really really tasty. Some of the vegetarian curry and side dishes were also very well made. The owner Mr Ranjith was very kind and very knowledgeable with all the local information. You can also enjoy government ferry ride in the backwaters for ~1 hour at just Rs. 12. Once you are there, there are no shops of any kind, so arrange for all the things needed before hand. All in all a magnificent place to spend peaceful time between the calm backwaters and the roaring sea. IMP : It''s a request to please maintain the sanctity of this place, I could see the tourist''s throwing plastic covers and bottles with no regard, the people there are having tough time managing all the litter, please don''t litter.
